HOW TO WASH YOUR BEARD AND APPLY BEARD OIL.... THE BERT WAY!
Let go through the steps shall we?
Step 1 - Wash with Man Made Beard Shampoo and Man Made Beard Oil twice a day (Morning and Night) these routines are exactly the same and essential to promote a strong and healthy beard!
Step 2 - When washing your beard always use proper beard soap or shampoo, I have also found 100% natural coconut barred soap to be very effective but branded stuff is also good. If you can’t use either then clean lukewarm water will be fine. This is a last resort as with normal shampoo and conditioner you loose more of the essential oils in your beard and skin compared to the proper stuff!
DO NOT USE BODY WASH ON YOUR BLOODY BEARD UNLESS YOU WANT A BEARD LIKE A WIRED BRUSH!
Step 3 - Lather, rinse and repeat is very important as not all the dirt, debris or dead skin is removed in the first wash!, Quick tip - Use a Beard Brush to remove built up debris, Man Made Beard Brush is perfect
Step 4 - When your beard is clean keep your beard slightly damp to apply the beard oil. This way the hairs essentially soak up the oil when the hairs naturally dry!
When applying to a dry beard the hairs are only being coated rather then the oil being absorbed in to the hairs and skin!
Step 5 - After the oil has been applied and the hairs are still wet comb the beard through in to shape!
If you want to use a hair drier to fast dry your beard be very careful and make sure it’s on cold or the lowest setting as you do not want to burn the hairs as it is easy to do when beard oil is present!
As we all know OIL + HEAT = COOK!
Step 6 - Always use a Man Made Beard Product! 💪🏻
